Releases Feature Rich Entry Level Thin Client
London, UK -- 25 May 2010 --
Netvoyager Technology Limited, a leading manufacturer of Linux and
Windows based thin client devices, has released its new feature rich
entry level thin client, the LX1012.
The Netvoyager Neterm LX1012 features an entry level price with the
full rich feature set of Netvoyager's Linux based PhoenixOS™.
This includes support for a broad range of server systems based on:
Citrix, Microsoft Terminal Server, VMware, Ericom, NoMachine, Linux and
UNIX. A built in web browser with Java, Flash and PDF support is
included for added flexibility.
The LX1012 is powered by a 500MHz VIA Eden processor with 512MB RAM and
512MB Compact Flash and complements any work environment, either on the
desktop or mounted onto a monitor with the optional VESA mounting kit.
Strong networking features include high speed 10/100/1000Mbps Ethernet
connectivity with activity indicators and built in VPN support with
OpenVPN and SSH tunnelling.
The optional built in WiFi capability and smart card reader bring these
two valuable features to an entry level product.
Both PS/2 and USB keyboards and mice are supported to provide maximum
flexibility in peripheral choice and utilisation.

Consuming less than 20 Watts the LX1012's reduced carbon footprint,
environmental benefits and electricity cost savings are hard to ignore.
To further reduce TCO (total cost of ownership) the LX1012 has the same
centralised remote management as it's more powerful siblings via
Netvoyager's InFocus management tool, web based management and VNC
remote control.
The Netvoyager LX1012 is available immediately from Netvoyager and
Netvoyager's channel partners.
